Caridina Serratirostris (Ninja shrimp)
Origin: Indonesia.
Appearance: Small shrimp with variable colouration. Colours vary from red to shades of blue and black. Striping is irregular.
Sexing: Females will grow up to 2.5cm and males will stay a little smaller.
Life span: Up to 2 years.
Size: 2 to 2.5cm.

Character: Non-aggresive and a little bit shy. Likes hiding out in the shadow.
Tank setup: From 20 liters and normal tank setup for shrimp. Not to be kept with large fish.
Waterconditions: Temperature 24-27ºC with an acidity of pH7 to pH8 and a water hardness of 10-25dGH.
Feeding: Will eat algae, excessive food, detritus and special shrimp food. They also like live food like water fleas(Daphnia) and cyclops.
Breeding: Young need brackish water to grow up.
Tank mates: Small fish, other shrimp species and larger crayfish.
