Origin: Islands of the Caribbean, Cuba, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Puerto Rico, Haïti & St Domingo
Appearance: Beautiful quiet fan shrimp. Colour is red-brown to black with 3 white bands and a white tail tip.

Character: Peaceful.
Tank setup: Normal setup for fan-shrimp.
Waterconditions: Temperature 20-28ºC with an acidity of pH7 to pH7.5
Feeding: They filter small food particles and micro-organism from the water with their fans. Besides micro-organism they also feed on small and soft food like artemia, water fleas(Daphnia), flakes and algae wafers.
Breeding: Brackish water is needed in order to let the young grow.
Tank mates: Small fish and dwarf shrimp.
