Clithon sp. diadema (Horn/Thorn snail)
Origin: Indian and Pacific oceans. Appearance: Usually black/yellow with different stripes. Several spines on their shells, probably to protect themselves from outside predators. They are closely related to the Neritinas. Sexing: Unknown. Life span: Probably 8-10 years. Size: Up to 1.5cm. Sexually mature: Unknown. Gestation: Character: Peaceful, fun and very graceful. Tank setup: Suitable for various freshwater aquariums. Waterconditions: Fresh water. Feeding: Algae, excessive food, plant remains. Breeding: Probably brackish water.
